Guess what caught our releases for you today ;)
I was as work the other day and caught something falling from the till with my foot before it hit the ground-and then had to do it again when I knocked it off the counter again. The customer was impressed and amused that I was able to catch the same item twice with my foot. We started talking about the interesting things people could do with their feet aside from walking even with our lack of opposable toes. Afterwards I started wondering if other animals did things with their feet, other than walking or climbing. If monkeys could write, would they be able to write with their feet? Would racoons clap with theirs? Then I started wondering, what would happen if humans still had opposable toes. Would we write with our feet? Would we still wear shoes? Would our buildings still have stairs or would we all have monkey bars to get level to level?
